By signing, I confirm that:

  1. The activity. I am taking part voluntarily in Jebel Jais Club activities (group bike rides, vehicle convoys and guided hikes) on public roads and mountain terrain at Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah. Roads stay open to other traffic.
  2. Risks. I understand that cycling, driving and hiking in mountains carry risks. These include falls, collisions, mechanical failure, steep descents, changing weather and temperature, and other road users. These can cause injury, death or damage to property.
  3. Fitness and equipment. I am fit and healthy enough to take part. Cyclists: I will wear a helmet and use front and rear lights, and my bike is roadworthy. Drivers: my vehicle is roadworthy, registered and insured, I hold a valid licence, and I will obey all traffic laws and speed limits.
  4. Instructions. I will follow the instructions of the organisers, marshals, ride captains and the police. I will ride or drive in my assigned group. I accept that the organisers may stop, shorten or cancel the activity for safety or weather.
  5. Medical. I consent to first aid and to being taken to hospital if the organisers' medical team judges it necessary, at my own cost where not covered.
  6. Release. To the extent the laws of the UAE allow, I release Project Hospitality Solutions FZ LLE (the organiser), The Hub's operator and site owners, and partners and their staff and volunteers from liability for loss, injury or damage arising from my participation, except where caused by their gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
  7. Photos. I agree that photos and video of the event may include me and may be used by the organiser and its event partners to report on and promote Jebel Jais Club events. I can ask for a specific image to be removed via the contact form.
  8. Minors. If I am signing for a rider aged 16 or 17, or for children under 16 in my group, I am their parent or legal guardian. I accept these terms on their behalf, and I will supervise them throughout.
  9. Data. My details are handled as described in the Jebel Jais Club privacy notice.
